💳 Payment issues: Blocked, Insufficient, or Expired Cards

Updated this week

Quick Answer: Payment issues on our application are handled automatically by the system, even if you don’t see an error message.

🚫 Blocked card or Insufficient funds

If your card is blocked or there are not enough funds at the time of a recurring payment:

  • No error is shown in your account and the subscription remains active

  • The system retries the payment the next day

  • After several failed attempts, the charge will be split into smaller amounts

  • After reaching 35 failed attempts, the system will suspend the subscription

If payment still fails after 65 days:

  • A debt is recorded in the system

  • First debt collection attempt happens after 45 days

  • Second attempt happens after another 45 days

❗️ If your card is later unblocked or funded:

  • The system automatically collects the recorded debt

  • Your subscription continues if it was not canceled yet.

📅 Expired card

If your card expires, what happens depends on whether the card is renewed or replaced.

✅ Renewed card

If the card is renewed under the same bank account, you don’t need to do anything.
The updated card information is received automatically and applied to your account.

❌ Not renewed card

If the expired card is not renewed or the new card is linked to a different bank account, the blocked card scenario applies.

This means you’ll need to contact us to remove the old card so you can add a new one after your current subscription expires.

❗️ At the moment, cards cannot be updated directly in your account.

🔄 How to change a payment method

You can only switch to a different payment method type (for example, PayPal → card or card → PayPal).

❗️ If your card is expiring soon and will not be renewed under the same bank account, please contact our Support Team.

We’ll remove the old payment method so you can add a new one afterward.
